2. To provide a forum for case presentation and discussion.
3. To enhance communications among lactation specialists and health professionals.
4. To educate health professionals and the community on issues related to breastfeeding.
5. To increase patient and health provider access to lactation specialists in the community.
6. To promote the goals of the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative-USA
